The Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD) was launched in Hanoi yesterday. Its purpose is to promote corporate social responsibility and encourage more economic sectors to participate.
Sustainable development is becoming a common trend for the whole world. This is also the goal of social and economic development in Vietnam, for businesses in particular.
Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is not a new subject but it still gives a touch of glamour to businesses, investors, consumers and the society.
