SASCO joins Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development

In June 2016, the Southern Airports Services Joint Stock Company (SASCO) joined the Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD) as an official member.

Providing commercial services at Tan Son Nhat airport, SASCO had established a sustainable development strategy from the beginning and have been pursuing this goal consistently throughout 23 years of developing. Sustainability has always been a crucial orientation in the long-term development strategy of SASCO. This strategy, which formed of four core values: customer, service quality, human resource and corporate social resonsibility, has been making SASCO thrive. Not only becoming the top-of-mind airport services provider at Tan Son Nhat with chains of diversified and high-quality services, SASCO has also been contributing to the country’s economy and society development, especially in activities for the improvement of the community, that expresses the enterprise’s effort in contributing to the nation’s sustainable development goal.

By becoming the official member of VBCSD, SASCO aims to try harder in implementing corporate social resposibilities, while updating newest information and knowledge on sustainable development practice, as well as other involved social-economy issues. On the other hand, SASCO commits to strengthen cooporation with other member enterprises of VBCSD to encourage the sustainable development of the business community that generally increases competitive capacity and particularly helps build brand values.
With the head building at Tan Son Nhat airport, SASCO is active in a variety of services, including duty free shops, restaurants, business lounges, travel and transportation services, etc. and also has expanded into outside-airport market with direct business affiliations.
