A sustainability report (SR) has long been known as an efficient tool to help businesses measure, understand and communicate their economic, environmental, social and governance performance, and then set goals, and manage change more effectively. In the current context of Vietnam economy deeply integrating in the global economy, Vietnamese enterprises, especially listed ones, are increasingly concerned about the developing their own SR.
To provide businesses with updated essentials of internationally standardized sustainability reports and advanced supporting tools for Vietnamese enterprises to better govern businesses towards lasting growth, the VBCSD-VCCI will collaborate with Deloitte Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HOSE) to organize the Workshop on Sustainability Report and Advanced Practice and Supporting Tools. With the aim to support Businesses in Vietnam to update information on latest trends and topics related to sustainable development, as well as to create a forum for discussion and experience sharing about current business practices and solutions of sustainable businesses, Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD) – Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry of (VCCI) is going to organize the "Sustainable development - Essential trend and its necessity for Businesses " Conference.
The workshop presents a unique opportunity to bring together of around 100 participants from business community, government agencies, international organizations, NGOs, business associations (both domestic and foreign), experts and media. A tentative agenda is attached for your reference.
