C.P. Vietnam - CPV Food Binh Phuoc Shape a Sustainable Pathway in the Processed Food Industry

On December 16, 2025, C.P. Vietnam organized a ceremony to announce two important milestones in its processed food development strategy: officially being licensed to export the first batch of processed chicken to Singapore and simultaneously being honored at prestigious regional awards in the fast-moving consumer goods and industrial manufacturing sectors.

The event took place at the CPV Food Binh Phuoc chicken processing complex, with the participation of representatives from the Singapore diplomatic mission, local agricultural authorities, as well as the leadership and employees of C.P. Vietnam.

The ceremony marked CPV Food Binh Phuoc’s official license to export the first batch of processed chicken to Singapore.

The approval granted by the Singapore Food Agency for CPV Food Binh Phuoc to export processed chicken signifies a new step forward for C.P. Vietnam in its deeper involvement in the regional processed poultry supply chain.

Representatives of the Singapore diplomatic mission, local authorities, and C.P. Vietnam’s leadership attended the event.

This also demonstrates the company’s ability to meet stringent standards on food safety, traceability, and quality management required by high-end markets such as Singapore.

Previously, C.P. Vietnam’s processed chicken products had been exported to Japan, Hong Kong, Cambodia, and Laos, with Japan recording stable volumes over many years.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Pang Te Cheng, Consul General of Singapore in Ho Chi Minh City, highly appreciated the cooperation between Singaporean and Vietnamese authorities and the enterprise during the inspection and assessment of the factory. According to him, CPV Food Binh Phuoc’s licensing not only carries significance for the company but also creates opportunities for Vietnam’s livestock and food processing industry to access markets with strict regulatory requirements, while contributing to diversifying safe food supplies for Singapore.

Mr. Pang Te Cheng, Consul General of Singapore in Ho Chi Minh City, delivered remarks at the event.

Alongside the export milestone, C.P. Vietnam’s efforts in innovation and sustainable production practices were also recognized at the FMCG Asia Awards 2025 and Manufacturing Asia Awards 2025. The company was honored in several key categories, reflecting its comprehensive approach to management, from products and production facilities to environmental, safety, and energy management systems.

Notably, C.P. Vietnam’s SHE&En Management System was awarded Sustainable Initiative of the Year. This integrated model combines standards on occupational safety, health, environment, and efficient energy use, implemented consistently across the system. After its application, the system has contributed to increasing renewable energy usage, optimizing resource consumption, and improving working conditions for employees.

C.P. Vietnam and CPV Food Binh Phuoc were honored at the FMCG Asia Awards 2025 and Manufacturing Asia Awards 2025.

In terms of products and production, CPV Food’s ready-to-eat fried chicken line was named Consumer Product of the Year, while the CPV Food Binh Phuoc complex was recognized as Manufacturing Facility of the Year. The plant operates under a closed model from feed production, farming, to food processing, with highly automated lines and quality control systems meeting international certifications such as HACCP, BRC, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, and Halal.

Mr. Wirat Wongpornpakdee, Senior Vice President in charge of Food Business and New Business Development of C.P. Vietnam, spoke at the ceremony.

Sharing at the event, Mr. Wirat Wongpornpakdee stated: “To meet the requirements of high-end markets, enterprises must maintain operational discipline consistently and over the long term. We expect that CPV Food’s processed chicken products being welcomed in demanding regional markets will help enhance Vietnam’s reputation in the high-quality food supply chain.”

He emphasized that in the coming time, C.P. Vietnam will continue to strengthen sustainable production practices and improve export capacity, thereby increasing the competitiveness of Vietnamese poultry products in regional and international markets.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony marked CPV Food Binh Phuoc’s official license to export its first batch of processed chicken to Singapore.

According to the plan, the company aims to expand its export markets for processed chicken products to the United Kingdom and the European Union (EU), contributing to realizing Vietnam’s long-term goal of bringing high-quality agricultural products to international markets.

Also within the framework of the event, CPV Food Binh Phuoc awarded 242 scholarships with a total value of nearly 1 billion VND to children of employees working at the plant. This activity reflects the company’s commitment to caring for workers’ livelihoods and investing in future generations as part of its sustainable development strategy.

Representatives of CPV Food Binh Phuoc’s leadership presented scholarships to children of employees working at the plant.
