Vietnam Business Forum: Sustainable Business and Corporate Social Responsibility

On the occasion of the Annual Entrepreneur Day of Vietnam (13 Oct), the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) has assigned Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD) and “Dien dan Doanh nghiep” newspaper in coordination with the project “Helping Vietnamese Small and Medium Enterprises Adapt and Adopt Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for Improved Linkages with Global Supply Chains in Sustainable Production” to organize Vietnam Business Forum: Sustainable Business and Corporate Social Responsibility that will take place on:
 
Date:         Saturday, October 8, 2011 (8:30-13:20)
Venue:       Ballroom, 7th Floor, VCCI Building - 9 Dao Duy Anh Street, Hanoi
 
The forum is focused to address emerging CSR issues in Vietnam; the reasons why enterprises should implement CSR; advantages and disadvantages for Vietnam enterprises to implement CSR; and the role of government and related stakeholders in CSR implementation towards sustainable business and development. Please find attached tentative agenda for your reference.
