Strategy for Clean Medicinal Materials, with international standards
MSc. Nguyen Huy Van - Deputy General Director of Traphaco's representative shared: Vietnam is the land of many valuable medicinal plants (over 4000 species), however, medicinal herbs are being developed fragmented without link in production and consumption, not yet mechanized and standardized. Traphaco has signed contracts with farmers from providing seeds, providing technical support according to the instructions of GACP-WHO, UEBT, and Organic to purchasing finished products for farmers. Over the years of implementation, up to now, Traphaco has had 05 growing areas following the GACP-WHO standards of the Ministry of Health with over 36,000 hectares providing high quality raw materials for the company. With this medicinal development model, Traphaco has created more than 20,000 workers, over 40% are ethnic minorities with an increased income of 3-5 million VND / household / month, the lives of many households. changed.
