In the afternoon of April 16, 2021, representatives of C.P.Vietnam Mr. Tran Anh Quyet and Mr. Dinh Quoc Hoang presented 50,000 medical masks to the Mardi Gras Delegation on behalf of CPV Charity Fund. Representatives of the Ministry's youth union were Mr. Ta Hong Son - Secretary of the delegation, secreties of the Department of Veterinary Medicine, Legal and some departments that welcomed and received the above masks.
On behalf of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mr. Ta Hong Son sincerely thanked CPV for supporting and accompanied the Delegation in volunteer activities and said that with this number of masks received, the delegation will plan to allocate units, good use in activities to work with CPV and the whole country to repel Covid-19.
CPV Charity Fund donated medical masks to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development
As of April 2021, C.P. Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company has donated 7,700,000 units to 769 units including hospitals, medical facilities, isolation places, territorial waters border v.v..
This is an activity under the project "Mask of Mercy" established in May 2020 to join hands with the country to fight the COVID-19 epidemic, especially when Vietnam is facing a second wave of complex infections. The project was implemented by C.P Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company (under C.P Thailand Group) in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, and the Central Vietnam Association of Young Physicians through the C.P Vietnam Charitable Support Fund. CPPC Medical Mask Factory is located on the premises of CPPC Outdoor Costume Co., Ltd. (1 member of C.P Group), located in Phu Tai Industrial Zone, Bui Thi Xuan Ward, Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh Province.
The factory operates with modern production technology, in which all machines are imported from Thailand, manufactured according to GMP clean room criteria. The quality management system meets ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016 standards. Medical masks are manufactured at CPPC factory using 3-layer nonwoven fabrics, with 2 layers of non-woven fabric and 1 layer of antibacterial fabric, with the main source of raw materials imported from Thailand and from reputable domestic suppliers.
The donation of masks of C.P Vietnam to units of great significance contributes to helping Vietnam fight the Covid-19 epidemic.

On April 17, 2021, to celebrate Earth Day 2021 “Restore our Earth”, an event is held at 2 Le Thai To Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi. The event is co-organized by Center for Environment and Community Research (CECR), Vietnam Water Conservation Network (VIWACON), and the People's Committee of Hoan Kiem District with the strong leadership of Vietnam Administration of Seas and Islands (VASI), and with the financial support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Dow Vietnam, and other businesses. Earth Day 2021 also has the participation of Youth Union, Women’s Union, businesses, non-governmental and environmental organizations, volunteer groups, schools, and citizens in Hoan Kiem district.
On 1 & 2 April 2021, BAT Vietnam’s Leadership team together with its partners had a trip to the leaf growing area in Gia Lai. In the trip, the leadership team and partners handed over two charity houses to two families of ethnic group. 800 trees, covering 1,200 m of road at Ia Broai commune, Ia Pa district, Gia Lai were also planted as an activity of the trip.
Following the achievement of the factory in Dong Nai, BAT's factory in Binh Chanh remarked a milestone of zero waste to landfill since 1st April of 2021. To achieve this, VINA-BAT JV organized many trainings of waste categorization for all employees as well as apply many other environmental activities.
