Home Credit Vietnam has been the only consumer finance company honored at the Global CSR & ESG Awards for the fourth consecutive year in the leadership category.
The Global CSR and ESG Leadership Summit & Awards 2024 was organized on April 25 in Hanoi. For 16 years, it has been one of the most prestigious events that honors the world's top businesses and organizations in sustainable development.
Under the theme "Generating Meaningful Impact - Unlocking Value," this year’s conference emphasized the importance of creating tangible and long-term impacts through corporate social responsibility and sustainable development activities.
Home Credit Vietnam received recognition for the fourth time in the "Global CSR & ESG Leadership" category at the global awards.
"Winning for the fourth time in a row illustrates the efforts of the entire Home Credit Vietnam team, as well as highlighting our vision for safe growth and reinforcing our commitment to sustainable development," said Ms. Vu Tra My, Sustainability Manager at Home Credit Vietnam.

According to Ms. My, the key factor strengthening Home Credit’s position in the market is its development strategy surrounding the three pillars of ESG - Environmental, Social, and Governance.
"ESG is at the heart of Home Credit’s commitment to responsible business. As one of the leading digi-finance companies in Vietnam, we always set the goal of business development alongside activities to improve corporate governance, protect the environment, and support the community towards achieving sustainable development goals," she insisted.
In fact, Home Credit is a pioneering consumer finance company in standardizing ESG implementation, applying ESG standards to all aspects of business activities, and publishing annual sustainability reports, with significant progress over the years. During its 16 years of operation in the Vietnamese market, this digi-finance company has been leading in responsible lending while also working to raise consumer awareness of personal finance, financial independence, and sustainable consumption.
One of Home Credit’s most meaningful programs over the years has been the sustainable livelihood transition program for women named "Home for Life." This project has funded hundreds of Vietnamese women and facilitated training sessions on personal finance management, family expenditure management, and sustainable livelihood skills, enabling them to live the life they want. Most recently, the project teamed up with the Women's Union of Bac Lieu Province to offer a loan package worth VND150 million to two local cooperatives.
The "Home Love" project over the past three years has sent thousands of practical gifts, built facilities, and organized many meaningful activities to stimulate families and children in difficult circumstances in different cities and provinces.

Home Credit Vietnam has not only kept deploying large-scale community projects over the years but has also continuously implemented many other initiatives to create positive environmental values, such as the Earth Hour campaign in late March, with sustainable living workshops and short videos on social media to spread green lifestyles and sustainable consumption habits in communities.
Another example is Re.HOME, a second-hand clothing recycling project. The financial company called on its employees to donate old clothes to contribute to difficult circumstances across the country, which also reduced almost a ton of fashion waste that could have been dumped into the environment.
With its sustainable development strategy and activities that have such a real impact, Home Credit Vietnam has not only won the Global CSR & ESG Leadership Awards for the past four years but is also the only consumer finance company to be ranked on Vietnam’s Top 100 Sustainable Companies (CSI100), awarded by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) for two consecutive years in 2022 and 2023.

"Transparency, fairness, and friendliness are key differentiating factors that form the core of Home Credit’s approach to responsible finance, which has created Home Credit’s success over the years. On our journey in 2024, we will strengthen our position as the pioneering sustainable digi-finance company in Vietnam," Ms. My said.
Home Credit is the only digital consumer finance company appearing at The Sustainability Leaders Summit 2024, reinforcing its strong commitment to responsible business in Vietnam.
