In celebration of World Environment Day, BAT Vietnam implemented several environmental activities with the participation of their employees and partners. 50 BAT employees at Dong Nai BAT-Vinataba JV factory (PMD) joined Bien Hoa Green group & Long Binh ward people committee in cleaning up the streets and public areas with 1,000kg of trash collected.
Previously, 22 BAT employees along with Cycling Club bring the motto 'Leave nothing in the forest, except for your footsteps' to life through collecting 100kg of trash in Cat Tien Forest. This activity not only enhances BAT people’s awareness of environmental protection but also improves their physical health and team bonding.
In addition to trash collection and cleanup activities, BAT employees & their families, with the participation from Bien Hoa Green volunteer group, participated in planting 100 saplings. This helps improve our people's sense of responsibility and connection to nature, emphasizing the role of trees for the environment and our life.
