FrieslandCampina Viet Nam won Asia Responsible Entrepreneurship Award

FrieslandCampina Viet Nam received this year's Award for Responsible Entrepreneurship–in the category of Social Empowerment -for its extensive achievements in community empowering projects and activities.
                         
This is the first ever company from Viet Nam can put the name in the list of respectable companies that have won this award previously.
                                 
Enterprise Asia's Asia Responsible Entrepreneurship Awards programme (AREA) recognizes and honours Asian businesses for championing sustainable and responsible entrepreneurship in the following categories such as Green Leadership, Investment in People, Health Promotion, Social Empowerment, SME CSR and Responsible Business Leadership.
                  
Participation is open to enterprises' that demonstrate their commitment, advocacy, integrity and leadership in incorporating responsible and ethical values in their businesses such as protection of environment, investing in stakeholders, empowering the community, taking care of their well-being and legal compliance into the way they operate their businesses.
               
The Awards is held in four sub-regions of Asia, namely, East Asia, South Asia, Southeast Asia, and Middle East.Outstanding programs for empowerment of economically disadvantaged communities that bring victory to FrieslandCampina Vietnam include the Dairy Development Program, Den Dom Dom Education Fund, and a plenty of activities in nutrition research and education.
