On the afternoon of September 10th, 2020, the representative of Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company (PNJ) presented medical equipment to a number of hospitals in Quang Nam and Quang Tri provinces, aiming to support for the Covid -19 prevention, as well as for future treatment activities of the Hospital.
Support Journey for the Central region of Vietnam
The medical equipment PNJ donated in this time includes: 1 set of endotracheal tubes with camera, 10 electric injection pumps, 4 blood glucose meters, 8 aerosols, 4 aspirators with 2 bottles, 2 blood muscle pressure meters, 2 sets of endotracheal intubation, 1 6-channel electrocardiograph. The equipment will be donated to Quang Nam Regional General Hospital, General Hospital in the Northern Mountainous Region of Quang Nam, Quang Tri polyclinic, Quang Tri Tuberculosis Hospital.
The doctors at Quang Nam polyclinic were delighted to receive the endotracheal tubes set with camera from PNJ.
Doctor Nguyen Tai - Director of Quang Nam polyclinic said: “The hospital treats more than 30 patients, and 1 patient has not been discharged from the hospital, and needs aspiration support, tracheal machine support. During this time, PNJ company donated medical equipment to the hospital, helping us to remove a part of machinery difficulties in pandemic prevention”.
5 electric injection pumps were also presented by PNJ to the Polyclinic in the Northern mountainous region of Quang Nam province.
According to Mr. Huynh Van Tan - PNJ Corporate Affairs Director, “This is the continuation of the Because We Care campaign launched by PNJ since mid-August. The medical equipment donated to the Hospitals in this period was purchased from the money supported by PNJ staff. This has shown the responsibility and sharing of each member of the company, helping the Central region to overcome the Covid pandemic.”
When the PNJ delegation arrived at Quang Tri Polyclinic, it was raining quite heavily, but it did not slow anyone in the group. PNJ representatives paid attention to and asked for the doctors here, expressing their respect for the hardships and difficulties of the frontline anti-pandemic doctors.
In a warm and intimate atmosphere, PNJ gave a warm attention to the doctors at Quang Tri Province Polyclinic.

PNJ donates medical equipment to Quang Tri Tuberculosis Hospital
Before that, PNJ donated 9,500 biopsy tubes of Covid to CDC Quang Ngai. The company also donated 1,000 nano silver masks to support the isolating area at Ho Nghinh High School (Duy Xuyen district, Quang Nam Province) and the isolating area under the Military Command of Quang Tri province. At the same time, PNJ supported 200 protective suits, 5,500 nano silver masks, 250 antiseptic bottles ... timely provided to Hoa Vang Field Hospital, Polyclinic of Northern mountainous region of Quang Nam province, the quarantine area of the People's Committee of Hoa Vang district and the People's Committee of Nai Hien Dong ward.
Being one of the pioneers in combating Covid pandemic
When the Covid pandemic just broke out in Vietnam, PNJ also made timely contributions to the government when sponsoring the program to produce 10,000 Covid-19 virus testing kits, in addition, the company donated the disinfection robots and medical equipment to 8 major hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City, donated 5,070 books "Covid – 19 t: Understanding and preventing properly" to employees, partners and customers of PNJ, in order to help the community, have the best view of the pandemic. In Covid's prevention activities, PNJ has always been a pioneer in community protection.
