The Red Journey is a National blood donation campaign to overcome the blood shortage in Viet Nam. Over 7 years, C.P. Viet Nam with thousands of staff, workers attended in blood donation, contributed to saving hundreds of patients’ lives. The Red Journey is a big communication campaign about voluntary blood donation with participated by 50 provinces, cities and has received millions of units of blood
Up to July 2020, the 8th Red Journey 2020 has implemented 16 provinces and cities in Vietnam, the Red Journey with the message “Vietnamese blood connection” was held from 6/6/2020 in Cao Bang, Kien Giang and will be end in early August in Hanoi, expecting to receive 80,000 units of blood. The Red Journey 2020 has been held in 42 localities, and have 5 localities with 8years of participation are Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, and Lam Dong. And this year, 4 more localities join are Ben Tre, Hau Giang, Soc Trang, Tay Ninh.

The Red Journey in Kiên Giang province
On 8-9/6/2020 C.P. Vietnam’s leaders and employees participated in “The Red Journey in Kiên Giang province”, visited and gave gifts to poor patients in Kien Giang province hospitals, gave gifts at the blood donation festival, besides that C.P.Vietnam visited and presented gifts to Thalassemia patients, cancer patients, and elderly people. Through 2 years with the Red Journey in Kien Giang, C.P. Vietnam’s staff and employees participated in parades, visited historical sites, campaigned to donate blood in locals to raise awareness about blood donation activities, humanity, kindness, educated the young generation about community love.

“Joining hands to connect Vietnamese blood” in Lam Dong province
Accompany with the Red Journey program 2020, on July 07 C.P. Vietnam’s staff and employees participated in the festival “The Giot Hong of flower city”.
As a part of the activities in the Red Journey program 2020, in Lam Dong C.P. Vietnam’s leadership and employees visited and gave over 30 gifts to poor patients at Lam Dong hospitals, gave gifts at blood donation festival, besides that C.P. Vietnam visited and presented gifts to Thalassemia patients, cancer patients, and elderly people, supported food and travel expenses for 100 volunteers, gave 1000 blisters of chicken eggs for blood donors at festival day.
