TRAPHACO SHARED ABOUT SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT IN THE SEMINAR: SUSTAINABLE CORPORATE GOVERNANCE IN A CHANGING SOCIETY

On the morning of September 25th, 2020, a seminar was held in Hanoi: "Sustainable corporate governance in a changing society", in the context that Vietnam and the world have just experienced the Covid-19 pandemic "shock". The seminar was organized by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), the Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD), and broadcast online to more than 350 agencies, organizations and businesses.

The Covid-19 pandemic is the clearest test for businesses: businesses that practice professional management (including risk management) are able to sustain and overcome difficult times with less losses than businesses that lack a foundation for corporate governance. The Prime Minister has also issued Decision 1362 / QĐ-TTg on Approving the sustainable private sector enterprise development plan up to 2025, with a vision to 2030, showing the Government's recognition of their role and the importance of corporate sustainable development in general and the sustainable development of private sector enterprises in particular.

As a typical example of Sustainable Development in Vietnam, Traphaco always aims to develop a green economy with 3 goals: High economic efficiency associated with social responsibility and environmental protection. These three segments are realized by the Green Value Chain: from standardized input materials to international standards - smart pharmaceutical production technology - extensive distribution system - good quality products, effective and safe.

With special emphasis on World Sustainable Development Goals - SDG 9, Traphaco focuses on infrastructure investment, applying digital transformation, leading the trend of Pharma 4.0 in Vietnam. Traphaco has actively invested in modern pharmaceutical technology according to international standards, and built smart factories.

+ Traphaco is constantly increasing the green value chain sustainably thanks to the application of information technology to plantation management and sales management;

+ Applying ERP in business management; analyzing and exploiting customer data from North to South, understanding local market needs, assessing the capacity of each agent, pharmacy through BI (Business Intelligence) to optimize business sales revenue, reduce inventory, help turn capital sources in the most effective way.

Up to now, Traphaco has gradually succeeded in "4.0" transformation comprehensively, firstly by preparing a 4.0 mindset for all business activities, to confidently investing in human resources and facilities, infrastructure, building processes from products - distribution systems - communication and online sales trends.

Ms. Dao Thuy Ha - Marketing Director, representing Traphaco JSC

When the pandemic happens, it is the green value chain and the power of digital transformation that has helped Traphaco firmly overcome: material source is less affected, good production capacity ensures the supply of anti-epidemic products, along with that is the online sales system which was put into operation. Traphaco commits to sell at the fair price of epidemic prevention products, support transportation costs, and ensure adequate supply of epidemic prevention products to localities. For employees, the company applies safety measures according to regulations of the Ministry of Health, provides anti-epidemic products to employees, supports sales and delivery in epidemic areas.

The most precious thing in the epidemic season, when consumers have to tighten spending, except for choosing essential goods and confidence in reputable brands, Traphaco and its products are still trusted and chosen by consumers and customers. It is the result of both a commitment to quality and efficiency that Traphaco has been developing for 48 years to customers, the community and the whole society.
