Bia Viet brings to life “Wishes of Fulfilment” across Vietnam

Ho Chi Minh City, January 26, 2021 Bia Viet, a product of HEINEKEN Vietnam, started the year 2021 by launching a Tet (Lunar New Year) campaign titled Wishes of Fulfilment”. The campaign aims to celebrate the upcoming Tet holiday by connecting consumers across the country as they share their wishes for a fulfilling New Year.

To this end, Bia Viet has created an online platform for consumers from 18 years old and above to submit their New Year greetings and stand the chance to win attractive prizes worth up to VND 650 million dong in total, including valuable items such as six Exciter RC 150 motorbikes and three first prizes valued at VND 100 million (or two taels of gold) each. As of now, Bia Viet has received over 18,600 wishes and presented these prizes to over 5,000 lucky consumers across the country.

A first prize winner received her prize during a Bia Viet event in Quang Ngai.

Staying true to its promise of delivering on these Wishes of Fulfilment”, Bia Viet has committed to presenting Tet donations to underprivileged households in 24 cities and provinces across Vietnam, including the 20 provinces  with highest number of wishes sent to the campaign’s microsite: Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Nghe An, An Giang, Tay Ninh, Binh Thuan, Binh Duong, Lam Dong, Dong Nai, Kien Giang, Nam Dinh, Ninh Thuan, Bac Ninh, Hung Yen, Thanh Hoa, Quang Ninh, Ninh Binh, Hai Duong, Quang Binh, Dong Thap, Hai Phong, Tra Vinh, Quang Ngai and Ba Ria - Vung Tau. These in-kind and cash donations have been and will continue to be delivered by Bia Viet team to over 3,200 disadvantaged households before the Tet holiday begins. Bia Viet’s employees and network of distributors also joined the brand in contributing their parts to this campaign.

Bia Viet is the latest member of HEINEKEN Vietnam’s brand portfolio. Since its launch last April, Bia Viet has been actively contributing to social causes in Vietnam. Instead of holding launch events, Bia Viet adjusted its budget to donate VND 10 billion to support COVID-19 relief efforts across Vietnam. Last October, Bia Viet donated VND 3 billion to get immediate relief to the local communities affected by the recent catastrophic floods in Central Vietnam.
