Nestlé Vietnam Receives The Golden Prize For Quality - 25 Years Of Improving Quality Of Life

Prime Minister decided to present the golden prize of the Vietnam National Quality Awards 2020 for the company’s remarkable achievements in improving product quality, service, competitiveness, effective operation and international integration.

The enterprises including Nestlé Vietnam got the golden prize because they met the award’s seven criteria comprising role of leaders, strategic planning, customer and market orientations, measurement, knowledge analysis and management, human resource management and development, operation management and operation result.

Enterprises won the award were evaluated and selected on two levels: the provincial/city council and the national council. The national council would propose some enterprises in the list suggested by the provincial/city council to Minister of Science and Technology. Then, the minister would submit the final list to the Prime Minister to present the Vietnam National Quality Awards.

According to Nguyen Hoang Linh, vice head of Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality, the Vietnam National Quality Awards is an advanced implement based on comparison between enterprises’ operation and the criteria that is to evaluate business activities and results under the international standards, define management level and quality, achievements and weaknesses, opportunities and future missions. With these, appropriate improving measures would be offered.

Binu Jacob, general director of Nestlé Vietnam, shared his pride in that Nestlé Vietnam was honored with the golden prize of the Vietnam National Quality Awards 2020 in the first year the company took part in the event. “The award is a measurement of enterprises’ development, a tool as well as driving force for their development. Participating in the award helps enterprises not only further improve themselves by applying advanced tools in management but also make their productivity, quality and competitiveness better in both domestic and foreign markets,” Mr. Jacob says.

Dow Vietnam Launched Plastics Circularity Project in Hoan Kiem District

On April 17, 2021, to celebrate Earth Day 2021 “Restore our Earth”, an event is held at 2 Le Thai To Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi. BAT GIVES BACK TO THE COMMUNITY VIA ESG ACTIVITIES

On 1 & 2 April 2021, BAT Vietnam’s Leadership team together with its partners had a trip to the leaf growing area in Gia Lai. In the trip, the leadership team and partners handed over two charity houses to two families of ethnic group. 800 trees, covering 1,200 m of road at Ia Broai commune, Ia Pa district, Gia Lai were also planted as an activity of the trip.
