Recently, INSEE Vietnam has had many activities to accompany the people of the Mekong Delta to overcome the severe salty drought season.

INSEE Vietnam quickly sponsored for the program to buy water tanks to equip households and 500 tons of High sulfate resistant cement - INSEE Extra Durable to upgrade infrastructures as well as houses in Long An, Ben Tre, Vinh Long, Kien Giang, and Ca Mau.

In Kien Luong, Kien Giang Province, INSEE and Tuoi Tre newspaper built a 1600m long water pipeline. This project is part of the series activities "Bringing fresh water to Mekong Delta" which INSEE Vietnam combined with Tuoi Tre newspaper with the desire to bring clean and stable water to households in affected areas.

Moreover, INSEE also cooperated with local governments of Ben Tre province to construct NDTQ Road No. 16, 17, 18 Thanh A hamlet, Tan Phong commune, Thanh Phu district with the length of 420m with High Sulfate Resistant cement INSEE Extra Durable sponsored.
Volunteers from Hon Chong factory are setting up the pipelines in Ba Trai and Hon Trem hamlets, Kien Luong.
In addition, in Ba Trai and Hon Trem hamlets, Binh An commune, Kien Luong district, Kien Giang province, INSEE has cooperated with the locals to install 700m lengths of water pipelines for poor residents in the area. INSEE Vietnam will continue to make more efforts to contribute its small part to help improve quality of life against saline instrusion. The project has received an enthusiastic response from INSEE volunteers who participated in the construction which took 7 days to complete, contributing to bring clean and stable water to more than 40 households around the Hon Chong factory area.

Furthermore, INSEE has also accompanied with Bridgestone and some other enterprises to build Ngon Cai and Thay Ba Vi bridges for the residence in My Hiep commune, An Giang and Binh Tan commune, Dong Thap. This project has helped to upgrade infrastructure and partially support people's lives in those areas to overcome the severe drought and salinity period.
