COCA-COLA CONTINUES TO REFRESH COVID-19 PREVENTION TASK FORCES IN HO CHI MINH CITY, DELIVERED OVER 7,000 PRODUCTS TO HEALTH WORKERS AND COMMUNITIES

Coca-Cola Vietnam has delivered over 7,320 high quality beverage products which include Dasani water, Aquarius isotonic drink, and NutriBoost dairy drinks to the COVID-19 prevention task forces in Go Vap district and Gia Dinh hospital (HCMC) as a prompt support to healthcare workers and vulnerable communities there.

The beverage company quickly responded to the calls of the PRO Vietnam (Packing Recycling Organization Vietnam) and BSA (Business Studies & Assistance) to deliver hydration support when outbreaks have been reported in various areas in HCMC and social distancing order has been applied.

Coca-Cola has delivered products to the COVID-19 prevention task forces.

Coca-Cola, to date, hascarried several initiatives in support of Vietnam’s COVID-19 fight. In 2020, together with the Vietnam Red Cross Society, American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (AmCham Viet Nam), Women’s Union, Tuoi Tre newspaper, and many other organizations, Coca-Cola provided more than 7 billion VND including medical and hygiene supplies, food and beverage packs, masks, and PPEs for healthcare workers, people on the frontline, and vulnerable communities throughout Vietnam. Furthermore, Coca-Cola also honored and paid tribute to the unsung heroes at the height of the pandemic through its “For the Human Race” campaign. The campaign served as a source of inspiration for over 3.5 million people in Vietnam during its most difficult and challenging time.

Beyond its continuous support and contributions to the community, Coca-Cola also remains steadfast in its commitment of putting people at the heart of their business. The company continues to ensure that its business activities strictly comply with the safety regulations of the Ministry of Health and the global safety standards of the company, not only to protect their employees’ health and safety, but also to serve quality refreshing drinks to the communities it serves.

FedEx Awards US$200,000 to Four Nonprofits in AMEA Dedicated to Advancing Environmental Sustainability

Hong Kong SAR, China, June 3, 2021—FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp (NYSE: FDX) and one of the world’s largest express transportation companies, today announced that four nonprofits – Arbor Day Foundation, Gawad Kalinga Community Development Foundation, United Way Mumbai and Solar Sister, Inc., will receive grants totaling US$200,000 from FedEx under its Priority Earth Global Grant Program (PEGGP). Together with eight other nonprofits from other regions[1], each will receive a US$50,000 grant in support of their efforts to improve the environment.

INSEE PRIZE: 10 YEAR JOURNEY NOURISHS FUTURE GENERATION
