At the United Nations Climate Change Summit 2021 (COP26), Vietnam made strong promises to achieve net zero emissions by 2050 in order to work together to address climate change on a global scale.

CPV adopts effective energy use policies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions including increasing the rate of renewable energy use (biomass energy, biogas energy, Solar energy), applying innovative technology in the production process and circular economy principles contribute to promoting green and sustainable development. Up to now, renewable energy contributes 38% of energy use in business operation and CPV proudly succeeds in achieving the 100% stop of coal use since 2021.

Additionally, in an effort to maximize output and conserve resources, CPV selects machinery and equipment with low energy consumption and high production efficiency in order to minimize fuel consumption and waste generation in production. On the other side, CPV implements technological innovation by using automated production systems and robots, streamlining production processes and time to reduce energy consumption in factories (Smart Factory)
CPV constantly prioritizes the community through a variety of environmental and social projects in addition to internal company greening initiatives. CPV has been implementing the "CPV - Green Vietnam Journey 2021-2025" project, with the aim of planting and caring for 1.5 million trees in Vietnamese provinces and cities affected by climate change, natural disasters, floods, and other natural disasters, in order to help balance emissions, restore the ecosystem, and support Vietnam's goal of planting 1 billion trees.

On April 23, 2024, INSEE Vietnam organized the Handover Ceremony of “Mang Non” Book Station at Binh Tri Primary & Secondary School, Kien Luong district, Kien Giang province with the participation of local authorities, school administrators, and partners.
