On September 13, 2024, the mangrove reforestation ceremony in Nhon Trach District for 2024 was held, attracting the participation of over 90 delegates from various departments, media, local residents, as well as CPV’s leadership and employees. The event marked a significant milestone in the mangrove reforestation project in Dong Nai province, expanding the planting and care of an additional 4 hectares mangrove forest during the 2024 - 2027 period, with over 20,000 trees planted in the mangrove forest of Phuoc An Commune, Nhon Trach, under the management of the Long Thanh Protective Forest Management Board.
Opening speech at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Lam Sinh - Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Dong Nai Province, emphasized that the planting and care of 20,000 mangrove trees as part of the “C.P. Vietnam - Journey for a Green Vietnam” project not only contributes significantly to the province's 2024 green planting program but also reflects CPV's deep commitment to environmental protection.

Representing CPV, Ms. Le Nhat Thuy - Senior Vice President and Chairwoman of the C.P. Vietnam Donation Fund, shared the significance of the project and expressed gratitude to the agencies, local authorities, and all participants in the event. Besides that, Mr. Sawang Chanprasert - Senior Vice President of Poultry Business also presented a symbolic plaque representing 20,000 mangrove trees to the representative of the Long Thanh Protective Forest Management Board. Then all delegates participated in planting 1,000 mangrove trees at the project site.

Each tree planted is not just a seedling but a symbol of hope and trust for a sustainable Vietnam. This is also the message that the “C.P. Vietnam - Journey for a Green Vietnam 2021-2025” project aims to spread, with the goal of planting and caring for 1.5 million trees, contributing to the government’s initiative to plant 1 billion trees.
