CPV Food Binh Phuoc: C.P. Vietnam's Representative on the Journey of International Integration

As a crucial link in the 3F Plus ecosystem of C.P. Vietnam Corporation (CPV), CPV Food Binh Phuoc not only builds upon the strong foundation of its parent group but also pioneers a new path for Vietnam's livestock industry: applying high technology, adhering to international standards, and aiming for sustainable exports – especially to the potential Halal market.

CPV Food Binh Phuoc

Foundation for Development from the 3F Plus Ecosystem

Inheriting the 3F Plus model from C.P. Group Thailand, CPV Food Binh Phuoc is a prime example of the commitment to developing a closed value chain from Feed (animal feed), Farm (farm), to Food (food processing), with "Plus" representing sustainable development, traceability, and environmental friendliness.

From its very first days of operation, CPV Food Binh Phuoc has played a strategic role in realizing CPV's commitment to the Vietnamese Government: building a modern agro-industrial sector, contributing to food security, and enhancing the competitiveness of Vietnamese food products in the international market.

Southeast Asia's Most Modern Production Complex

Inaugurated in December 2020 with a total investment of up to 250 million USD, the CPV Food Binh Phuoc complex is one of the most modern chicken meat production facilities in Southeast Asia. More than just a processing plant, this complex is a closed-loop ecosystem comprising breeding stock production, animal feed, farming, slaughtering and processing plants, and a distribution center.

The entire production process applies advanced technology: from the cold house system using evaporative cooling technology, automation in feeding, drinking, and waste collection, to livestock health management using Big Data. Additionally, in-ovo vaccination technology helps to proactively prevent diseases and strengthen the immune system of the poultry flock without the need for growth hormones.

One of the model's highlights is its strict adherence to European animal welfare standards – limiting antibiotic use, avoiding growth promoters, and minimizing stress for the animals. A GPS positioning system is integrated throughout the transportation process, ensuring 100% traceability for every product batch.

Halal JAKIM Certified – Opening the Door to the Muslim Market

A significant milestone in CPV Food Binh Phuoc's market expansion strategy is the investment in building the entire production line according to Halal JAKIM standards – a rigorous certification issued by the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia. This is a mandatory requirement for exporting food to Muslim countries – home to over 1.9 billion consumers.

According to Mr. HaKinr – CPV Food Binh Phuoc's slaughtering process manager – all stages of slaughtering, processing, packaging, and preservation must strictly adhere to Islamic rituals. Slaughtering is performed quickly, humanely, and with absolute hygiene. The production system is designed to be separate, avoiding any possibility of cross-contamination with non-Halal products. CPV Food also accepts regular and unannounced inspections from JAKIM, demonstrating a high level of commitment to quality and transparency.

Accelerating Exports, Elevating Vietnamese Brand

In its first year of operation, CPV Food exported its first batch of goods. By 2022, processed chicken meat products were officially exported to Japan – one of the world's most demanding markets. Not stopping there, CPV Food continues to expand to many new markets in Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.

The total export value for the 2021–2025 period of CPV Food Binh Phuoc is projected to reach 67 million USD, with a capacity of up to 52 million broiler chickens/year. With its current scale and capacity, the factory is gradually becoming one of Vietnam's leading meat export processing centers.

Contributing to the National Strategy on Modern Agriculture

CPV Food Binh Phuoc is not only an achievement for C.P. Vietnam itself but also an integral part of the national strategy to elevate the agricultural sector. Its pioneering application of Industry 4.0 technology, adherence to international standards, and active sustainable investment have inspired CPV and motivated Vietnam's livestock industry to undergo a strong transformation.

Mr. Wirat Wongpornpakdee – Senior Vice President for Food and New Business Development at C.P. Vietnam – shared:

"Halal JAKIM is a crucial key for CPV Food Binh Phuoc to enter the global Muslim market. But more broadly, our achievement contributes to realizing our commitment to the Vietnamese Government regarding processed food exports, enhancing the position of Vietnamese agricultural products in the international arena."

As part of C.P. Group's global network, CPV Food Binh Phuoc represents the integration and innovation capabilities of C.P. Vietnam – a leading enterprise in the agro-food industry. With a green development model, high technology, and transparent management, CPV not only contributes to fulfilling the Government's commitments on export processing development but also inspires the transformation of Vietnam's livestock industry towards a modern, sustainable, and globalized direction.
