Ho Chi Minh City, March 10, 2026 - Amway Vietnam contributed VND 1 billion to the Central Council of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization to support the construction of 20 children’s playgrounds in Ho Chi Minh City, helping create safe, healthy, and energetic spaces for children to play and stay active. This meaningful initiative was carried out as part of the 2026 national-level “Healthy and Happy Children - Stepping Forward to the Youth Union” Festival, organized by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Central Council of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization during Youth Month, in celebration of the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term, and in commemoration of the 95th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

The event took place in Ben Cat Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, and was held simultaneously across the country. According to information from the Central Council of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization, the festival was connected to more than 22,000 Young Pioneer units at primary and lower secondary schools, with the participation of more than 10 million young pioneers and children across 33 connection points nationwide. The festival served as a meaningful nationwide activity to inspire a vibrant spirit of emulation among children, encouraging them to strengthen their physical wellbeing, foster solidarity, stay proactive in learning, and actively participate in activities organized by the Young Pioneer Organization, schools, and the wider community.

Attending the event were Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet, former Politburo Member and former President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; Lieutenant General Tao Duc Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee and Chairman and General Director of the Military Industry and Telecommunications Group - Viettel Group; Ms. Nguyen Pham Duy Trang, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and President of the Central Council of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization; together with representatives of central agencies, ministries, sectors, mass organizations, and local authorities. Their presence contributed to further amplifying the significance of the event and reaffirmed society’s strong commitment to the care, education, and protection of children.
At the event, Amway Vietnam was honored to join hands with the Central Council of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization in providing resources for the construction of 20 children’s playgrounds in Ho Chi Minh City. This practical initiative contributes to expanding community facilities that directly serve the recreational and physical activity needs of children in local areas. For Amway Vietnam, each playground is not only a public-use community facility, but also a space where children can develop physically, nurture a positive spirit, strengthen their connections with friends, and create cherished childhood memories in a safe and friendly environment.
According to information announced by the organizers, as part of the 2026 “Healthy and Happy Children - Stepping Forward to the Youth Union” Festival, supporting partners jointly presented 20 playgrounds, 10 bookcases, and 2,750 gifts to children in 20 wards and communes across Ho Chi Minh City, alongside numerous gifts and scholarships for children in difficult circumstances. Amway Vietnam’s support for the implementation of these playgrounds therefore not only helps improve community recreational infrastructure for children in the city but also forms part of a broader set of meaningful initiatives aimed at caring for children, especially those in areas where additional conditions for learning, recreation, and development are still needed.
As a company that consistently places social responsibility at the heart of its sustainable development journey, Amway Vietnam regards community-focused activities, especially those benefiting children, as an important part of its long-term commitment. Through its official communication channels, Amway Vietnam has emphasized that supporting children is a global and steadfast focus of Amway’s community initiatives, while the company continues to pursue its mission of helping people live better, healthier lives. Guided by this commitment, Amway Vietnam continuously seeks practical, sustainable, and meaningful ways to contribute to society, with caring for future generations remaining one of its key priorities.

Through its support for the construction of 20 children’s playgrounds, Amway Vietnam hopes to contribute to the creation of more long-term community spaces where children can play, exercise, and develop in better conditions. This initiative also reflects Amway Vietnam’s broader efforts to work alongside government agencies, social organizations, and local communities in building a better living environment for children today and for the community of tomorrow.
Amway Vietnam’s participation in the 2026 “Healthy and Happy Children - Stepping Forward to the Youth Union” Festival continues a long-standing series of community initiatives the company has sustained over the years, ranging from programs promoting health, nutrition, and education to activities directly supporting children and other communities in need.
