Vietlott and Tam Tai Viet Fund Accompany Teachers and Students in the Border Highlands of Hung Son

In August 2026, representatives of Vietlott and the Tam Tai Viet Fund were honored to join a legal advisory delegation led by the Da Nang Department of Justice on a special mission to Hung Son Commune—the westernmost border commune of Da Nang City, located along the border with Laos.

Approximately 99% of Hung Son’s population belongs to the Co Tu ethnic minority group. Due to the rugged mountainous terrain and frequent landslides during the rainy season, the journey to school is exceptionally challenging for local children, many of whom must walk through forests for two to three hours each day to attend classes. Following a major landslide in 2025, Vo Chi Cong School is currently being rebuilt and has had to temporarily use the commune cultural center as its teaching facility.

Understanding these difficulties, the Tam Tai Viet Fund donated VND 50 million to support the purchase of educational equipment and teaching materials for Vo Chi Cong School, helping provide encouragement and better learning conditions for both teachers and students as they continue their educational journey.

Mr. A Lang Bien, Vice Principal of the school, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Vietlott and the Tam Tai Viet Fund for their timely and meaningful support. The visit was also attended and acknowledged by local authorities, representatives of the Da Nang City Police, the Ga Ry Border Guard Station, and officials from the Da Nang Department of Justice.

As part of the program, the delegation also visited the Ga Ry Border Guard Station, participated in a solemn flag-raising ceremony at Border Marker 692 on the Vietnam–Laos border, and presented meaningful gifts to children in the highland community.
