The Top 10 "Green Enterprises - NetZero Action" title recognizes enterprises with outstanding achievements in green transformation, emission reduction, renewable energy adoption, cleaner production, resource management, waste management, information transparency, and the promotion of sustainable development.
At C.P. Vietnam, sustainable development is implemented consistently across the entire value chain, built on three core pillars: climate protection, improving quality of life, and building a sustainable food system. The company has set a target of reaching net-zero emissions by 2050, while integrating energy-saving solutions, renewable energy use, circular economy practices, and emissions governance into its production and business operations.
In terms of energy, as of 2025, approximately 34% of the energy consumed by C.P. Vietnam came from renewable sources. The company has installed rooftop solar power systems at its factories and farms with a total capacity of about 51 MWp. Since 2021, C.P. Vietnam has stopped using coal, switching to biomass fuels such as wood chips, sawdust, and corn cobs for its boiler operations. Biogas recovered from livestock waste is also treated and used to generate electricity on farms, helping to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from livestock operations.

Alongside its energy transition, C.P. Vietnam is advancing the circular economy by reducing packaging materials and increasing reuse and recycling, in coordination with PRO Vietnam on the collection and recycling of plastic packaging. During 2024-2025, more than 1,400 tons of plastic waste were collected and recycled through this program.
In the area of nature conservation, from 2021 to 2025, C.P. Vietnam coordinated the planting of 1.52 million trees nationwide, surpassing its initial target of 1.5 million trees. This is equivalent to 355 hectares of concentrated forest and scattered trees, with a post-planting survival rate of about 85%. The company has also carried out wildlife conservation activities, habitat support initiatives, and community awareness programs on biodiversity protection.

On ESG governance, C.P. Vietnam applies the CPF SHE&En standard as an integrated management system covering occupational safety, health, environment, and energy, developed in line with ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 50001:2018 standards. The company has also deployed the SAP Net Zero Intelligence Platform to manage, analyze, and report greenhouse gas emissions data in accordance with international standards.
As Vietnam continues to advance its concrete pathway toward net-zero emissions by 2050, the participation of enterprises plays an important role in the economy's green transition. Building on a foundation of sustainable development established over many years, C.P. Vietnam aims to make a practical contribution to the agri-food industry by becoming more resource-efficient, more transparent in data, and more responsible toward the environment and the community.
