The 2025 Sustainability Report underscores Home Credit Vietnam’s commitment to expanding access to formal financial services while creating long-term value for people, planet and shared prosperity.
Home Credit Vietnam has released its 2025 Sustainability Report under the theme “Financing the Future: People, Progress, and the Planet”.
A key highlight of this year’s report is Home Credit’s transitioning of its sustainability strategy around the 4Cs framework, comprising Corporate, Customers, Colleagues and Community.
According to Home Credit, this framework reflects how the company puts its “Conscientious Digi-Finance” (“Tài Chính Số Tận Tâm”) positioning into practice by placing people at the centre of its business, operations and social contributions. Accordingly, the company focuses on expanding access to formal financial services, enhancing customer experience, protecting consumer rights, and strengthening transparency and responsible governance.
Mr Jakub Kudrna, CEO of Home Credit Vietnam, said: “We are no longer just managing sustainability; we are using it to finance the future. Guided by the 4Cs strategic framework, we remain committed to creating practical value for people, planet and shared prosperity.”
Support for opportunities to access formal financial services

In 2025, Home Credit broadened access to formal financial services for 236,900 underbanked individuals and 119,000 young people aged 18 to 20.
According to the report, Home Credit continues to promote financial inclusion through products and services targeting underbanked customer groups. These include young people, first-time borrowers, customers without established credit histories, and people in areas with limited access to formal financial services.
Notably, lowering the eligibility age for point-of-sale instalment loans from 20 to 18 has given young customers more opportunities to access formal consumer credit, with transparent information, terms and procedures tailored to their needs.
In 2025, Home Credit supported 236,900 underbanked customers, an increase of 3.9% from the previous year. The company also helped 119,000 young people aged 18 to 20 access formal consumer credit, 6.3 times the figure recorded in 2024. During 2025, Home Credit had served more than 17 million customers in Vietnam.
Furthermore, Home Credit places a strong focus on promoting responsible lending through financial literacy initiatives. According to the company, access to financial services can only be effective when users are equipped with sufficient knowledge to understand products, recognise their financial obligations, and manage their spending in line with their financial capacity.
The Home Smart initiative recorded more than 21 million engagements with financial literacy content across media platforms, while directly equipping more than 4,400 people with personal financial management skills.
For Home Credit, financial inclusion needs to go hand in hand with financial literacy. Alongside expanding access to formal financial solutions, the company focuses on providing the knowledge needed for users to understand products, assess their needs, and manage their finances responsibly.
Support for sustainable growth
Besides the goal of expanding financial inclusion, Home Credit’s Sustainability Report highlights efforts to channel finance towards the green transition.
In 2025, the company developed a Green Transition Plan and began implementing it in March 2026, with a focus on reducing carbon emissions in both internal operations and its business product portfolio.
In the green and zero-emission vehicle segment, Home Credit has strengthened cooperation with partners to expand suitable financial solutions, giving consumers more options to access more environmentally friendly modes of transport. According to the report, the company recorded 15,000 instalment loan contracts for electric vehicle purchases in 2025, 11 times the figure recorded in 2024.
Sustainability is also incorporated into the way the company operates, beyond just its product portfolio. Home Credit continues to apply artificial intelligence in credit scoring, underwriting, debt collection and quality control, with the aim of improving operational efficiency, service quality, and risk monitoring capabilities.
The company maintains prudent and responsible lending principles throughout its business operations. Therefore, Home Credit’s non-performing loan ratio remained at 1.7%, demonstrating the effectiveness of this approach in controlling credit quality.
Support for talent development and community value creation
In terms of talent development, Home Credit continued to promote a diverse, inclusive, and empowering workplace. In 2025, employees completed 807,931 hours of training and learning, an increase of 16% from the previous year. Training programmes focused on both essential soft skills and emerging technology capabilities, helping employees better adapt to changes in the market and digital operating models.

Home Credit was recognised by HR Asia as one of the “Best Companies to Work for in Asia” for the fifth consecutive year.
Notably, 2025 also marked the first year Home Credit introduced a policy granting employees one fully paid day off per year to participate in volunteer activities. This helps encourage employees to join community initiatives more actively, while also connecting leaders, employees, and partners through social activities.
Over the past year, Home Credit contributed 9 billion VND to social activities, including sponsorship from partners and employee contributions, thereby supporting more than 13,000 people nationwide.
Amid a series of storms and floods affecting many provinces and cities in 2025, Home Credit launched a dedicated loan payment support programme worth up to 3 billion VND. The programme was designed to ease short-term financial pressure on affected customers, helping them stabilise their lives and maintain their ability to make payments during the post-disaster recovery period.

In 2025, Home Credit contributed VND 9 billion to community activities, supporting more than 13,000 people nationwide.
