As part of the 2026 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign "Pink Vacation" and "Green Summer," held in Ta Lai commune, Dong Nai city, C.P. Vietnam Corporation (C.P. Vietnam) took part as one of the leading corporate partners, helping bring the campaign’s theme, "Sowing Green Today, Lighting Up Tomorrow," to life through concrete initiatives rooted in the company’s core expertise in agriculture and livestock farming.
The program was carried out in coordination with the Youth Union of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, Power Generation Corporation 1, Vietnam Steel Corporation, the Vietnam Rubber Group, the C.P. Vietnam Youth Association, and the local authorities of Ta Lai commune, together with the Green Future Fund (Vingroup). It stands as a clear example of multi-stakeholder cooperation among youth organizations, businesses, and local government — with C.P. Vietnam leaving its mark on two fronts: supporting livelihoods through the transfer of livestock-farming techniques and greening the rural landscape.

Giving Livelihoods Through Knowledge, Not Just Resources

One of C.P. Vietnam’s most notable contributions was the "Red Scarf Chicken Flocks" model, presented to 40 disadvantaged local students, totaling 2,000 chicks and one ton of feed. What sets this initiative apart from conventional welfare support is its approach: rather than simply handing over chicks and feed, C.P. Vietnam also organized hands-on training sessions to teach students and their families proper farming techniques.

Through these technical-transfer sessions, families gained practical knowledge in animal care, disease prevention, and flock management, enabling them to sustain and expand the model well beyond the campaign itself. This reflects the kind of long-term volunteerism C.P. Vietnam pursues — shifting from simple aid to providing the tools and know-how of production, laying the groundwork for families to build livelihoods, raise incomes, and cultivate a spirit of self-reliance. The approach also mirrors the company’s broader sustainability philosophy in community engagement: connecting its core expertise in livestock farming with the real needs of local people, rather than offering resources alone.
Helping Build "Green Rural Roads, Green Future"
C.P. Vietnam also co-implemented the "Green Rural Roads, Green Future" project, planting 3,000 trees along rural roads in Ta Lai, in coordination with the Youth Union of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, the Forestry and Forest Protection Department, and local authorities.
Beyond adding greenery to the rural landscape, the project carries a message about environmental protection, climate change adaptation, and fostering a greener way of life within the community. The initiative is part of the broader "C.P. Vietnam – For a Green Vietnam Journey" program, which aims to plant three million trees nationwide between 2021 - 2030, carried out in coordination with forestry management.

Connecting Social Resources for Lasting Community Projects
Taken as a whole, C.P. Vietnam’s participation in Ta Lai illustrates how a business can play a meaningful role in organized community development programs through a three-way coordination model bringing together youth organizations, businesses, and local government. Socialized resources are mobilized and channeled into specific, well-targeted projects with clear beneficiaries and the capacity to endure long after the campaign ends.
This is also the approach that many businesses, including C.P. Vietnam, are placing greater emphasis on in their sustainability efforts: volunteering is not just about giving resources, but about creating lasting value; community projects should not merely be completed within the scope of a single campaign, but should continue to deliver benefits to people’s everyday lives. It is also how C.P. Vietnam builds a natural connection between its core business activities and its social responsibility.
