Hanoi, Vietnam - October 30th, 2019 - Dow Vietnam received the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Recognition Award from the American Chamber of Commerce in Hanoi (AmCham) for its corporate sustainability initiatives in Vietnam, marking the fifth consecutive year that Dow has been named in the winner list. This prestigious award is a recognition of a reputable organization for Dow's best practice programs in Vietnam to help the local community address the challenges, promote sustainable development and protect the environment.

HANOI, Vietnam – April 17, 2019 – Dow and DEEP C signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to build the first road using recycled plastics at the DEEP C Industrial Complex in Haiphong City in Vietnam. The project aims to divert post-use flexible packaging from becoming litter or entering a landfill, while also creating more durable, longer-lasting roads.

On January 18, 2019, the Final Showcase of the USAID BUILD-IT & Dow Vietnam STEM Program: Engineering Projects in Community Service was held at HCM City. More than 150 participating STEM students from six engineering and technology focused universities concluded the five-month program following the EPICS curriculum model, an internationally recognized model of service learning where students not only learn by doing but also learn by creating.
