C.P. VIETNAM HOSTED SUPPLIER CONFERENCE IN 2022

Over the past two years, the Covid-19 pandemic has greatly affected the economy, not only in Vietnam but also in more than 200 countries and territories around the world. Besides, the consequences of African swine fever (ASF) and climate change have also had serious impacts on food security, economic, social and environmental problems. Therefore, businesses are adapting to the new normal that is necessary for sustainable development.

In order to have a sustainable cooperation relationship, towards connecting and sharing with stakeholders who are partners and customers supplying the company's raw materials. From May 27, 2022 to June 6, 2022, C.P. Vietnam (CPV) organized the program "Supplier Conference 2022" with an expansion in scale and objects to further improve the efficiency of connection activities between the company and suppliers at 4 locations:  Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi Capital, Binh Dinh province and Son La province. Mr. Adisak Torsakul – Executive Vice President, Mr. Vu Anh Tuan – Senior Vice President, and The Board of Directors and Materials Sales Department are CPV representatives, who welcomed more than 300 suppliers who are an important partner of CPV.

Doing business in Vietnam for nearly 30 years in Feed-Farm-Food, CPV is aware that "Suppliers" are an important factor in the supply chain to create success and sustainable development. Through the conference, CPV and suppliers shared information’s related to the process of buying and selling feed mill materials and aquatic feed according to the volatile situation of the world in general as well as changes in the process of purchasing and sustainable raw materials of C.P. Vietnam in particular, directly supporting suppliers with the necessary information to make the cooperation of CPV and suppliers convenient and highly effective.

The "Supplier Conference 2022” is considered an important step in strengthening the long-term relationship between CPV and the supplier that has accompanied the company over the years, as well as an opportunity to connect directly with the parties to seek new cooperation opportunities, together towards the sustainable development of raw materials, especially domestic raw materials. CPV hopes to cooperate with suppliers that can create business growth, and brings value to society in a sustainable way both now and in the future.

Hanoi, May 26, 2022 – The Programme on Benchmarking and Announcing Sustainable Companies in Vietnam (CSI) 2022 has been officially launched, marking the 7th consercutive years on its success despite challenges caused by Covid-19. Improving livelihoods and boosting the use of clean energy through the biosecure pig farming project

"We no longer have to spend VND500,000 per month on a gas tank for cooking and daily needs.
