Facing the illegal use of Salbutamol as a lean substance in livestock, the Ministry of Health has proposed to put Salbutamol under special control. Salbutamol is a substance banned for use in livestock based on the decision of the World Health Organization and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. The use of salbutamol supplements in feed mills to increase the proportion of lean meat, reduce fat, and make lean meat red not only occurs in Vietnam but around the world, especially in developing countries.
