As the leading building materials company in the South of Vietnam market, INSEE realizes its responsibility to focus on the strategy of Social Responsibility and environmental protection.
The goal of environmental protection has been integrated by INSEE throughout the Company's business value chain. Practical results towards this goal will become easier when stakeholders, especially partners in the value chain of INSEE, work together. Recently, the Company has coordinated with localities and partners to organize programs towards World Environment Day. At the beginning of June 2023, INSEE Vietnam attended the launching ceremony of "Green Dong Nai Week" with a booth to exchange recyclables and receive gifts, attracting a large number of citizens to play games that help improve the environmental protection awareness and receive valuable gifts. Through this activity, INSEE has contributed to helping people better understand the separation of waste at source.

A large number of local dwellers came to INSEE booth to participate in environmental protection activities and exchange attractive gifts.
In addition, INSEE also cooperated with NS BlueScope in the activity " Join our hearts - Green the future" in Long Hai town, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province. This is one of the very meaningful activities that have been maintained for 2 consecutive years towards the goal of carbon offset for the future. This tree planting activity has partly helped to protect the sustainable ecosystem. There were 7,000 casuarina trees have been planted along the coast of Long Hai town by volunteers from INSEE, NS BlueScope and partners, with the hope that to help local people reduce the risks of natural disasters, creating opportunities for regional economic development and sustainable tourism.

Not only controlling the lowest CO2 emissions in the industry, at 379kg/ton cement produced (data in 2022), INSEE also organizes programs to help raise awareness about Sustainable Development such as seminars about Green Building at many universities/colleges across the country, sharing about the benefits of green materials at large-scale forums, coordinating in organizing and participating in many environmental protection activities. With all the efforts that have been, are and will be made, INSEE wishes to spread the message of "Build for Life", together building a prosperous, sustainable, and safe society.

AES Mong Duong organized a wrap-up ceremony for the second year and exchange the contract for the third year of the project ‘Supporting the Development of Biosecure Sow Production and Farming’ in Cam Pha City, Quang Ninh Province. Wednesday, May 31, 2023 - Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD) on Wednesday launched sustainable business assessment program in 2023 to assess and praise business performance in three aspects: economy, society and environment. The program is part of the Government’s effort to achieve net zero emissions by 2050.

23 May 2023, Espoo, Finland – Nokia today announced the first deployment of 10G fiber broadband in Vietnam with operator Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications (VNPT). The initial rollout will connect 10,000 homes and businesses in the 8 largest provinces of the country. Nokia is providing fiber access nodes for the operator’s exchanges and fiber modems for end users’ premises.
In late April, the factory of BAT Vietnam in Dong Nai achieved PAS2060 carbon neutral verification for Scope 1 & 2 emissions carried out by Totum Institute (Brazil). This is a testament to the fact that BAT Vietnam is persisting with its goal of reducing carbon emissions in our direct operatoins to create a sustainable future and protect the environment in Vietnam.
