In the Final Round, the teams presented their projects, demonstrated their product models, and answered questions from the panel of judges. The final results were evaluated not only based on product and project implementation but also on soft skills, such as presentation, critical thinking, teamwork, and time management skills, along with evaluating the team's business model/plan in perfecting the idea and future impact of the project, towards the goal of sustainable development..

After an intense competition, the First Prizes (including a STEM makerspace for the school of the winning team, a cash prize of VND 30 million for the team, and a Samsung product valued at VND 30 million for each team member and advisor) were awarded to the Small Warriors team - Him Lam Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities - Hau Giang with the project of Applying smart technology to breed and raise rare insects (Group A) and the Supernova team of Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted - Danang with the project of Braveheart - Using smart applications to warn of dangerous situations in children and women (Group B).

The organizers also awarded 2 Second Prizes, 6 Third Prizes, 2 Potential Awards, 8 Promising Awards, 2 People's Choice Awards, and 30 Online Training Round Prizes, with a total prize value reaching VND 8 billion.

Speaking at the event, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Chi, Deputy Minister of Education and Training said: "With the foundational knowledge acquired in schools, the core focus of education lies in igniting creativity, ambitions, and dreams within students, empowering them to affirm and surpass their potential. Furthermore, they should learn to care for and take responsibility toward their communities and society. I see that the Solve for Tomorrow, along with Samsung’s global educational vision, aligns significantly with Vietnam's educational goals. I believe the six-year journey of Solve for Tomorrow stands as both evidence of its impact and a strong foundation for the competition's future success."

The Solve for Tomorrow 2024 competition, launched in March 2024, targets secondary and high school students aged 12 to 18, encouraging them to apply STEM knowledge across science, technology, engineering, and mathematics to address current social challenges.

Since its inception in 2019, Solve for Tomorrow has achieved remarkable success, growing from just 500 participants in its first year to over 150,000 students in its sixth year, with nearly 2,300 project submissions from secondary and high schools nationwide. This growth solidifies the competition's reputation as a flagship corporate social responsibility initiative by Samsung Vietnam.

With the desire to popularize STEM knowledge, for the first time, as part of the Solve for Tomorrow 2024 competition, the "Solve for Tomorrow Bus" has been organized, traveling over 8,000 km to reach and provide technology and science experiment experiences to more than 10,000 students nationwide. This special bus has brought a new breath of fresh air to the Solve for Tomorrow competition in its sixth year in Vietnam.

This year, besides the usual focus on Environment and Health, more than 60% of the projects address issues related to supporting vulnerable groups. This shows the concern and willingness of the younger generation to support those who are less fortunate. Particularly, in alignment with Vietnam’s efforts to promote entrepreneurship among students, all models participating in the competition this year aim for sustainable development and creating products that can meet market demands.

Throughout the competition, students have had opportunities to hone their soft skills through specialized workshops and received project guidance from a team of senior advisors, including Samsung experts. These experiences have enhanced students' creative thinking, research abilities, project planning, and scientific presentation skills.

Speaking at the ceremony of the Solve for Tomorrow 2024, Mr. Choi Joo Ho, President of Samsung Vietnam Complex, stated: “Every year, as I observe the projects in the Solve for Tomorrow Final Round, I am amazed by the enthusiasm, effort, and intellect of the students. This year is no exception, and I am deeply moved by the impressive products they create. These students are the outstanding talents and future leaders of Vietnam. I hope they do not rest on their current achievements but continue to develop in their academic journeys. In the future, Samsung also strives to expand the reach of the Solve for Tomorrow program to more students.”

With the vision “Together for Tomorrow! Enabling People,” Samsung actively develops the next generation through initiatives like the Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC), a program that prepares young people with foundational to advanced IT skills, empowering them to become key contributors in the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Other initiatives include the “S.hub Sharing Space” Project in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and Da Nang; the “S.hub Kids Technology Space” for STEM-loving students; the “Samsung Talent” Program in partnership with universities; and the “Samsung Hope School” Project, providing extracurricular learning opportunities for underprivileged children.
