At the event, Samsung Vietnam, Junior Achievement Vietnam, and Letuin Vietnam signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), reaffirming their commitment to jointly implement the Samsung Innovation Campus 2024–2025 in Vietnam.
Building on the success of previous years, the Samsung Innovation Campus 2024–2025 will continue to offer technology development courses for youth aged 12–22. These include Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data, Basic Coding & Programming (C&P) courses, and various soft skills modules. The program’s curriculum is designed with an integrated approach, combining essential future technology skills with practical soft skills and workplace competencies. The training content is developed based on stratified surveys of regional industrial trends and recruitment demands from major corporations. Upon successful course completion, students will receive a Samsung Innovation Campus Certification and gain opportunities to participate in other valuable project activities, such as the Innovation Tech Challenge, a competition within the program framework. This competition provides a platform for students to apply their acquired knowledge and skills in real-world scenarios.
Under the framework of the Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC) 2024–2025 project, the training content will be restructured to enhance learning quality and better align with practical implementation. The program will continue to integrate online (E-learning) and in-person (offline) training methods, expanding its reach and optimizing student schedules. This year, SIC promises to be even more engaging with the introduction of extracurricular activities for the first time, including corporate visits and end-of-course programming exams. These initiatives aim to inspire students’ passion for technology and boost their learning motivation.
To enhance sustainability in implementation, the Samsung Innovation Campus 2024–2025 will also include teacher training sessions to enhance educators' technical and pedagogical skills, supporting their practical teaching efforts. These sessions will be designed by leading experts from Samsung and major universities across the country.
The Samsung Innovation Campus 2024–2025 is projected to offer learning opportunities and technological skill development to approximately 6,600 students in Vietnam.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Choi Joo Ho, President of Samsung Vietnam Complex, shared:
"The era of advanced technology demands that the youth – the future leaders – master cutting-edge technologies such as Artificial Intelligence... In this context, we must strongly implement the responsibility of nurturing IT talent, creating a foundation for the younger generation to embrace and master advanced technologies.
Samsung Innovation Campus not only provides the youth with opportunities to access new technologies like AI, IoT, Big Data, and programming, but also serves as a solid foundation that helps them face challenges on their journey to shaping the future. In the near future, we hope to receive greater attention and support so that the Samsung Innovation Campus program can train more IT talents – one of the key driving forces for societal development in the future."
Mr. Tran Van Dat, Director of the Department of Political Education and Student Affairs, stated:
