Ground breaking for the Hanoi Waste to Energy pilot project

Hanoi, 17th November 2019 - The stake holders of the Hanoi Waste to Energy pilot project held a ground breaking ceremony on Sunday, November 17, 2019 at Xuan Son Landfill in Son Tay and Ba Vi District to mark the effective starting of the site work.

The ceremony held by the project developer from Indovin Power Hanoi and its EPC partner from Dai Dung Corporation, was attended by local authorities from the districts, Secretary General of VCCI & Vice Chairman of VBCSD, Special Envoy of President Seychelles for ASEAN, Seychelles Financial Service Authority, Director of Regions20 Geneva and few delegation from EU, including the technology partner from Fichtner Germany and Beston International AG, and its manufacturing team from Beston Henan Machinery.

During his welcome remarks, Chairman of the Board Members of Indovin, Mr Steven Japutra expressed his highest consideration to Chairman Of Hanoi People’s Committee Mr Nguyen Duc Chung for the consent given on the ground breaking ceremony. Mr Steven also thanks the respective directors and officials from Hanoi and Son Tay and Ba Vi district for the existing good cooperation and the assurance of the completion of the project and as cetre of excellence for districts to start their own waste processing facilities before it piles up in the landfill and become polllution disaster.

Both Indovin Power and Chairman of Dai Dung Mr Trinh Tien Dung in their speech comment that such waste processing project is not meant for profit oriented business but a commitments to the healthy of the citizien and soverignty of Vietnam.

Mr Nguyen Quang Vinh, Vice Chairman of Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development compliments the effort and look forward to the running of the waste processing plant to be able to attract more businesses to be parent company to team up with the circular economy startups at local and district levels.

The brief ceremony marked the traditional blessing for the good start of the physical work, joining hands among the stake holders to introduce Hanoi as Green City - Zero Waste concept.

Dow and DEEP C partner to build the first road using recycled plastics in Vietnam

HANOI, Vietnam – April 17, 2019 – Dow and DEEP C signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to build the first road using recycled plastics at the DEEP C Industrial Complex in Haiphong City in Vietnam.
