C.P. Vietnam and Pan Group implement the project "Increasing mangroves’ area in Mekong Delta provinces"

With the desire to strengthen trade relationships and investment cooperation in line with the objectives of business development combine with sustainable development, social and environmental responsibility, in the direction of meeting new international standards on business development.

C.P. Vietnam (CPV) and Pan Group have committed to participate in funding and implementing the project "Increasing mangroves’ area in Mekong Delta provinces", this is the activities of planting, developing and restoring mangroves in the Mekong Delta, improving the value and sustainability of the seafood value chain (shrimp, pangasius), will coordinate with partners to implement practically, effectively and take advantage of the resources to implement. The project objectives relate to forest development, land protection against erosion, saltwater intrusion, flood prevention, CO2 reduction, increasing livelihoods for people in the region. These are objectives in line with the policies and operations of CPV and PAN.

CPV and Pan Group participated in the project to contribute ideas, agreed to coordinate with IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature) and other partners so that the project is implemented in a practical, effective way, meeting the criteria, the most standard for cooperation purposes set by IUCN.

It is expected that the project will be implemented in the period of 2022 - 2023, and funding for the project is 200,000 USD. Locations in Mekong Delta provinces

On December 9, 2021 in Hanoi, the project was signed with the MOU on the strategic cooperation agreement, starting from the development of the shrimp value chain through CPV's investment in Sao Ta. The strategic partnership is referring about areas that can be studied in the coming period: Fisheries value chain, cultivation - fertilizer - medicine, food processing, logistics and plant protection distribution.

The CPV's participation in funding and implementation of this project, as well as on strategic cooperation with Pan Group, has shown the CPV's operational development strategy not only in business but also towards sustainable, socially and environmentally responsible development,  in the direction of meeting international standards for the development of a business.

In December 2021, AES Mong Duong completed the renovation of electrical systems for 52 households in disadvantaged conditions in Cong Hoa Commune, Cam Pha City. AES Vietnam donates 1,000 COVID-19 rapid test kits in Binh Thuan Province

Binh Thuan, 12 October 2021, AES Vietnam presented 1,000 COVID-19 rapid test kits to Ham Tan Healthcare Center to support the fight against the pandemic in Binh Thuan Province. This support package also includes 500 N95 face masks.
