On May 16, 2022, to celebrate Dow 125th Anniversary, Dow Vietnam Team hosted a beach clean-up activity #PullingOurWeight in Vung Tau City with the support of local government. More than 40 volunteers from Dow Vietnam joined this event and we collected 251 kg of plastics waste (most of them are flexible packaging, styrofoam, bottle caps, medical masks...). So proud of Dow Vietnam team work!
Apart from the clean-up activity, this event is a great opportunity to raise the awareness about the sustainability and environmental protection. Some key messages of the event are as follows:

This is an activity within the framework of the cooperation project to develop smart factories, which Samsung in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Trade signed a memorandum of understanding in February 2022 with the goal of supporting the development of smart factories in 50 enterprises and training 100 Vietnamese experts in the field of smart factory consulting for 02 years (2022 - 2023).

Hanoi, May 26, 2022 – The Programme on Benchmarking and Announcing Sustainable Companies in Vietnam (CSI) 2022 has been officially launched, marking the 7th consercutive years on its success despite challenges caused by Covid-19. Washington DC, 11 May 2022. Today, representatives of AES and PetroVietnam Gas JSC (PV Gas) were granted an Investment Registration Certificate for the Son My LNG terminal project. The terminal will play an important role in supporting Vietnam’s energy transition and economic growth.
On May 18, 2022, in Can Tho City, Can Tho Department of Natural Resources and Environment in collaboration with GreenHub and RECERD, held the Launching Ceremony of the Project Zero Waste to Mekong River: Pilot Circular Economy model for Floating markets in Can Tho sponsored by Dow Vietnam, aiming at raising people's and community's awareness on environmental protection.
