Home Credit pioneers Financial Inclusion towards Sustainable business

Through the “Business and Sustainable Development” conference, Home Credit affirms its commitment to sustainability by promoting responsible finance.

On July 11, Home Credit Vietnam participated in the “Business and Sustainable Development” conference. This event is part of the “Vietnam Towards a Sustainable Future” series, organized by LifeNex and PDA & Partners, attracting business leaders and experts from various fields.

Mr. Pham Ngoc Khang, General Director of Home Credit Vietnam, shared insights on the ESG pillars closely linked to business operations.

Notably, at the event, Mr. Pham Ngoc Khang, General Director of Home Credit Vietnam, discussed advanced ESG practices in the financial sector, particularly in governance - a less discussed but crucial aspect of sustainable business development.

As one of the leading digital finance companies, Mr. Khang emphasized the importance of transparent finance, products that meet customer needs, and ensuring that customers fully understand service terms and rights before making decisions.

“Providing financial products and services to underbanked and unbanked customers, helping them access standard financial services and promoting financial inclusion, is also part of our responsible finance practice”, Mr. Khang shared.

Mrs. Vu Tra My, Sustainability Manager at Home Credit Vietnam, received flowers of commendation for the company’s contributions to a sustainable future in the financial sector.

Mr. Pham Ngoc Khang also affirmed that this journey must begin with the smallest steps and be implemented in stages, requiring commitment and responsibility from customers in managing their personal finances.

Home Credit Vietnam has collaborated with experts in the field to create financial literacy content across various platforms. This digital finance company also organizes training sessions on livelihood skills and financial management for women as part of the Home for Life project, supporting hundreds of women in taking control of their lives.

The application of ESG pillars in business operations has been detailed in Home Credit’s 2023 annual Sustainability Report, which the company recently published.
