On November 27, the Newspaper of Industry and Trade hosted a seminar titled “Promoting Green Finance - Towards Sustainable Development in Vietnam”, featuring representatives from regulatory agencies, experts, and industry leaders.
Demand for green finance gradually becomes significant as Vietnam faces increasing climate challenges and a growing need for sustainable development. However, resources allocated to this sector remain limited. At the event, Mr. Pham Ngoc Khang, General Director of Home Credit Vietnam, highlighted the company’s dedication to environmental and social practices towards sustainability.

In 2023, Home Credit saved 84 million sheets of paper, equivalent to 420 tons, by digitizing customer transactions. The company also actively monitors energy consumption, carbon emissions, and employee travel to minimize its environmental impact. Home Credit prioritizes employee welfare and workplace improvements, focusing on more than just profitability. Initiatives such as Home Love and Home for Life deliver solutions for financial inclusion to reduce inequality and extend access to underserved communities.
