Amway Vietnam presents playground to Vinh Vien 1 kindergarten in Can Tho City, helping nurture a fulfilling childhood

Can Tho City, May 2026 - Amway Vietnam, in coordination with the Can Tho Municipal Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Government News, organized a handover ceremony for a playground donated to Vinh Vien 1 Kindergarten in Vinh Vien Commune, Can Tho City. The project, worth VND 500 million, was specially designed for preschool children, contributing to the creation of a safe, healthy and educational play space for children in the locality.

This is one of Amway Vietnam’s notable community activities in 2026, reflecting the company’s long-term commitment to improving quality of life, caring for the younger generation and contributing to sustainable development goals in local communities. On this occasion, Amway Vietnam was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the People’s Committee of Can Tho City and a Certificate of Commendation from the People’s Committee of Vinh Vien Commune, recognizing the company’s positive and sustained contributions to social welfare and the development of future generations.

From Amway Vietnam, the event was attended by Mr. Nguyen Phuong Son, Head of Public Affairs of Amway Vietnam, along with representatives of the Amway Distributor community.

The playground covers an area of more than 320 square meters and includes a covered outdoor activity zone, slides, swings, artificial grass, a nature-experienced area with a green garden and animal models, as well as themed play areas such as traditional games and role-play corners. All facilities were designed to suit preschool children, with attention given to safety, physical activity and children’s natural learning experiences.

Beyond improving the school’s facilities, the project also contributes to enhancing the local educational environment, especially in areas where there remains a need for safe and proper play spaces for young children. For preschool children, a playground is not merely a place for recreation. It is also a space where children can develop physical strength, emotional awareness, peer interaction and their first social skills.

In practice, facilities designed for children often create value that goes far beyond their initial physical scale. A safe playground can encourage children to move more; a traditional-games area can bring them closer to local culture; and a small nature corner can spark curiosity, observation skills and love for the environment. These values cannot always be measured in numbers, but they carry lasting meaning in a child’s growth journey.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Le Minh Tuan, Deputy Director of Can Tho Municipal Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, shared: “We highly appreciate and sincerely value Amway Vietnam’s practical contributions in accompanying the locality in caring for children. The playground project for children at Vinh Vien 1 Kindergarten in Vinh Vien Commune, Can Tho City, not only provides a safe environment for children’s activities and play, but also demonstrates effective collaboration between businesses and local authorities in improving community life. This is a model that should continue to be expanded to create more positive values for society.”

Amway Vietnam’s receipt of the Certificate of Merit from the People’s Committee of Can Tho City and the Certificate of Commendation from the People’s Committee of Vinh Vien Commune is a recognition of the series of community activities the company has carried out in the Mekong Delta region over the years. In addition to the playground project at Vinh Vien 1 Kindergarten, Amway Vietnam and its Distributor community have accompanied many social welfare programs in the Mekong Delta region. Notable activities include contributing to the Fund for the Poor in Can Tho, building three bridges in Dong Thap and one road in Ca Mau, supporting clean water systems for people in areas affected by saltwater intrusion in the Southwestern region, and spreading the spirit of sharing through the Red Sunday blood donation program.

These activities show that Amway Vietnam’s corporate social responsibility orientation does not stop at standalone sponsorship programs but aims to address specific needs of local communities. In the Mekong Delta, these needs may include essential infrastructure, clean water, healthcare, or safe development spaces for children. Each project may differ in scale, but they all share one common purpose: helping people gain access to better living conditions in the very communities they call home.

For Amway Vietnam, the playground donation in Can Tho further reflects the company’s direction of linking business development with social responsibility. It is also part of the company’s mission of “helping people live better, healthier lives” through initiatives related to health, social welfare, environmental protection and the development of younger generations.

Students of Vinh Vien 1 Kindergarten enthusiastically attend the playground handover ceremony hosted by Amway Vietnam in Vinh Vien Commune, Can Tho City.

As sustainable development is increasingly seen as a substantive requirement for businesses, community activities that are concrete and capable of creating direct impact have become more important. An effective CSR program does not always have to begin with grand statements. Sometimes, it starts with a bridge that makes daily travel easier for residents, a clean water system that helps ease hardship during periods of saltwater intrusion, or a playground where children can run, explore and grow up with joy.

The new play space at Vinh Vien 1 Kindergarten gives children an additional place to exercise, explore and nurture fulfilling childhood memories.

With the new playground at Vinh Vien 1 Kindergarten, Amway Vietnam expects the project to become a meaningful activity space for local children, while also helping spread the spirit of collaboration among businesses, local authorities and the community in caring for future generations. The first laughter heard on the new playground may be a very small moment, but it is from moments like these that sustainable values are nurtured naturally and steadily.
