VinGroup organized Annual Meeting of Stockholders in 2017


VinGroup has officially launch their annual meeting of stockholders for the year 2017 in April 26. After going through their achievement in 2016, the Board has agreed on the revenue target up to 80.000 billion Dong from main businesses in 2017.

According to the report of Mr. Le Khac Hiep, Vice President of VinGroup, their net revenue achieved 57.600 billion Dong in 2016, equals to 128% proposed plan; after tax profit is 3.515 billion Dong, equals to 117% proposed plan. Core businesses all gain significant growth. In 2016, VinGroup successfully launch 24 estate projects, reach the peak revenue of 83.000 billion Dong in 15.000 condos, villas, civil estates and hotel apartments sold.

In shopping estate, Vincom Retail keep the rise in scale and present over the country. In 2016, Vincom run 10 new shopping malls, raise the total number to 32 malls and reach the point of 1 million m2 for modern retail stretch.

In travel and entertainment, Vinpearl and Vinpearl Land maintain their no.1 position with 9 hotels and resorts activated, total rooms is 6.000 in the whole system. Vinpearl is recorded as the stimulated investor for travel market, who change the interface of destinations in the whole country.

In retail business, VinGroup run over 1.000 retail point in the border, serve more than 56 million customer turns. Vinmart and Vinmart+ system become believable name of sanitary and clean food with high quality and clear origin products.

With the inspiration of creativity and meeting up consuming trend, VinGroup released new product and service with the role of market leader. It can be counted in mass estate project VinCity – home for medium income people, Vincom+ mall in small towns, and Vinpearl City Hotel – hotel in big cities. Creative selling policies with value added such as VinID the Customer Care programme receive high appreciation from their customers.

Significantly, after all efforts in growth, social responsibility, labor and environment, VinGroup is praised as 1 among top 10 most sustainable businesses in Viet Nam for the year 2016. Operated by Viet Nam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD), Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA), Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT), Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE), Viet Nam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL), and State Securities Commission of Viet Nam (SSC), top 100 sustainable businesses in Viet Nam ranking records the devotion of enterprise to the national economics and people, confirm their sustainable development and raise their competitiveness in global integration.

From those positive result in year 2016, VinGroup assess their ability to growth and market situation to set revenue target for year 2017 up to 80.000 billion Dong and profit after tax is approximately 3.000 billion Dong. 2017 is also the promising year for VinGroup as a game changer in retail industry by enlarging the coverage of Vincom shopping mall system and the brand of VinMart, VinMart+, VinPro, VinDS, and adayroi. Vinhomes, Vinpearl, Vinmec, Vinschool, VinEco are stimulated in quality to better satisfy customer’s need.
