To encourage youth to participate in socio-economic development, new rural construction, urban civilization, ensuring social welfare, national defense, security, especially in disadvantaged areas, borders and islands. The 2020 Summer Campaign, topic of “Vietnam Youth volunteering innovation for community”, organized by Steering Committee of the Central Youth Volunteers Force. It is officially started in many provinces and cities all around the country by a lot of meaningful and practical activities.

During June 25th – 27th, Mr Nguyen Quoc Khang – President of Vietnam Youth Federation of C.P Vietnam Corporation, CPV volunteers, the leadership of the Central Youth Union, Youth Volunteer Committee, representation of Youth Union of Quang Tri province, and sponsors participated in Summer Volunteering Campaign in Con Co Island, Quang Tri province. They brought the meaningful activities to the southern gate of Gulf of Tonkin, which is outpost protecting national territorial sovereignty.

CPV volunteers and soldiers are transporting chick breeds to island

Over 15 nautical mile, we had arrived at Con Co Island. There are just 70 households here, so that also is the reason why people are very familiarly here, they welcomed the guests like the beloved ones who were far away from home are now returning.

Here, the volunteer delegation organized medical examination and treatment activities, dispensed medicine, gave family medicine cabinets and gifts to all people and children on the island; growing Bougainvillea; collecting rubbish on the beach, and cleaning the environment.

In the program, CPV also presented 2,000 chicken breeds, 1,000 ducks, 3 tons of bran, 2,500 chicken eggs, food and drinking troughs, training on breeding techniques, and National flag to people on Con Co Island

Beside that, Vietnam Youth Union of C.P Vietnam gave 300 gifts to people of Chứt ethnic, who are in difficul situation, in K – Ai village, Dan Hoa commune, Minh Hoa district, Quang Binh province.

C.P.Vietnam hopes that the people in there will have a more prosperous life, always optimistic and happy throughout the gifts which nested tight CPV's loving heart. We believed each one of them is a sodier, that they are living, developing, and protecting sovereignty of Vietnam.

Reportedly, this year's Summer Volunteer Campaign with special volunteer activities targeting areas with 16 ethnic minorities of less than 10,000 people living, bringing good and practical things to enhance people life.
