Da Nang – Quang Nam, July 31, 2020 – The Central Vietnam is famous for its long coastal line and beautiful beaches. Its geographical location also comes with extreme weather conditions and unpredictable natural disasters. On the contrary, the people of Central Vietnam are known for their great optimism under any circumstances. They encourage one another to always maintain a positive outlook, regardless of life’s ups and downs.
These days, Vietnamese people everywhere send positive vibes and support to Da Nang City and Quang Nam province - the two areas currently heavily affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Born in Da Nang since 1909 and raised by the people in Central Vietnam, Larue Biere is proud to call this area its homeland for over 100 years. That’s why Larue Biere also shares the same optimistic and positive spirit with the people in Central Vietnam.
During this difficult time, Larue Biere has committed to donate VND 1 billion through the Vietnam’s Fatherland Front in Da Nang City and another VND 1 billion through the Vietnam’s Fatherland Front in Quang Nam Province. This total donation amount of VND 2 billion will be used to purchase medical equipment and support health care and emergency service workers on the front lines of the Covid-19 pandemic in Da Nang City and Quang Nam Province.
Larue Biere is a product of HEINEKEN Vietnam. In April, HEINEKEN Vietnam, via its latest brand Bia Viet, donated VND 10 billion to support Covid-19 relief efforts nationwide.
Commenting on the donation by Larue Biere, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phuc – General Manager of HEINEKEN Vietnam Breweries in Da Nang City and in Quang Nam Province – said: “Larue Biere is proud to be born and brewed right here in Da Nang City and Quang Nam Province. Larue Biere represents the optimism of the people in Central Vietnam under any circumstances. During this challenging time, we believe that the people in Da Nang City and Quang Nam Province, including our own employees at two breweries, consumers, customers and business partners, need not only positivity but also practical support. Larue Biere is very pleased to donate a total amount of VND 2 billion to Covid-19 relief efforts in Da Nang City and Quang Nam Province.”
