C.P. Vietnam Corporation (CPV) is a closed integrated business enterprise in the fields of Feed – Farm – Food, and food. It always upholds social and environmental responsibility and strives to implement and support environmental protection activities both internal and external. One of those activities is "sustainable afforestation," which has been implemented and expanded into a project for many years.
With the goal of expanding the project "C.P. Vietnam: Journey for a Green Vietnam 2021-2025", the company has cooperated with Dong Nai provincial authorities to support the planting and care of 10 hectares of mangroves in the province in the period of 2023–2026.

On the morning of October 20, 2023, C.P. Vietnam, together with the Long Thanh Protection Forest Management Board, launched mangrove planting activities in Nhon Trach District, Dong Nai Province, with the participation of more than 90 members who are delegates representing the provincial People's Committee, departments in Nhon Trach district, Phuoc An commune, media agencies, and the Board of Directors and employees of C.P. Vietnam.

According to the plan for 2023, CPV will plant and take care of 3.2 ha, corresponding to 10,592 Sonneratia pagatpat trees, and CPV will expand planting to support about 7ha of mangroves in the province in 2023–2026, Participating in afforestation activities, all people planted 500 trees in an area of 3.2 hectares. The total number of trees in this area will be cared for by the supplier in the years 2023–2026, contributing to increasing the mangrove forest area of Dong Nai province.

The implementation of CPV's sustainable afforestation project not only contributes to increasing forest area, reducing greenhouse gases, protecting the ecological environment, and adapting to climate change, but also has social impacts through generating more income for local people in the process of planting and caring for forests.
