On 16/11/2023, the Vietnam Circular Economy Forum 2023 with the theme: "Developing a National Action Plan to implement the circular economy in Vietnam" was hosted by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment in collaboration with TSCN (Thai Supply Chain Network) and other partners at Marriot Hanoi Hotel in hybrid format.
Overview of the forum
The event was attended by Government leaders, heads of representatives of development partners, ambassadors, representatives of large enterprises, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), universities, research institutes and leading experts in circular economy.

At the Forum, in the plenary session held in the morning of the same day, attended and directed by Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha, and Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Dang Quoc Khanh. Domestic and international leaders and partners discussed the "Draft National Action Plan for Circular Economy Implementation and Roadmap for Circular Economy Implementation in Vietnam". The afternoon was thematic and in-depth discussions on circular economy, ESG, Financial mechanisms for circular economy.

Within the framework of the Forum, there are also 20 exhibition booths of companies, demonstrating the models that have been implemented - promoting the circular economy towards environmental protection and sustainable development.

The Prime Minister and Minister also visited the booth of C.P.Vietnam, had discussions with the General Director of the company about the business situation, development activities and circular economy activities of CPV.

Implementing the goal of reducing plastic, CPV has adopted and implemented a sustainable packaging policy: 100% of food packaging can be reused, recycled, and compostable by 2030. Towards a poverty-free society, CPV aims to support the community through creating access to nutritious and safe food sources to consumers and disadvantaged groups with activities such as: providing egg-laying chicken farms for SOS children's villages. Cooperate with Foodbank and support Nhan Thien rice shop 2000 VND in Ben Tre to provide meals and food for disadvantaged groups. Support on business, product and technical information for small traders on livestock farms, agents and retail stores in the direction of Win-Win.
Dow Chemical Vietnam LLC (Dow Vietnam) on October 10, 2023 donated the essential medical supplies to the Emergency and Critical Care Department of Hanoi Medical University Hospital and the Emergency Department of Bach Mai Hospital.
