Additionally, the final round of the 2023 startup contest for rural youth saw competition among 40 potential projects shortlisted from 446 entries. In the past four months since the contest’s launch, the future entrepreneurs also participated in “competency enhancing” training sessions co-organized by HCYU and SABECO.
During the festival, young people also attended a seminar with experts to understand more about the trends of applying hi tech into agriculture, driving towards green growth and sustainability, and increasing the responsibilities of the young generation of farmers. Furthermore, they had opportunities to introduce their business models to mass audience through an exhibition.
This was the second consecutive year SABECO accompanied HCYU in training and honoring activities under the project of “Competency enhancement for rural young entrepreneurs” – one of the key focuses of the 3-year strategic partnership between HCYU and SABECO.
