Recently, INSEE Vietnam was honored to be one of 40 businesses to receive the "Corporate Social Responsibility" award towards building the sustainable community (CSR Award). This is an annual award organized by Saigon Times Magazine to honor companies that have made many practical contributions to society through meaningful CSR programs, contribute to bringing a better future to the society.

The year 2023 marks the 5th consecutive milestone that INSEE Vietnam has been awarded a certificate for the "Corporate Social Responsibility" award thanks to the responsibility to society, contributing to spreading good values and humanity to society. Through this award, it can be seen that the Social Responsibility pillar is highly focused by INSEE in parallel with the Company's production and business activities. INSEE believes that local development is the springboard for the development of businesses operating in the area.
INSEE demonstrates their responsibility through working closely with local stakeholders in order to identify their needs for implementing suitable CSR activities. This is the key to ensuring the practicality of the community activities that the company carries out. Specifically, in 2023, INSEE has sponsored more than 500 health insurance cards for disadvantaged pupils, organized blood donation programs (twice a year), Community Health Check Program for nearly 700 elderly people, organizing the program "Waste exchange" to propagate and guide waste classification at source for local people, etc.

In 2023, INSEE Vietnam collaborated with the voluntary doctors from Can Tho University of Medicine to organize the "Community Health Check Program" for nearly 700 disadvantaged elderly people in Kien Luong district
As one of the building materials leading manufacturers, suppliers and waste management in Southern Vietnam, the company focuses on the goal of developing infrastructure in rural areas where INSEE’s plant/ grinding stations operate. Up to now, INSEE has renovated and built 25 civil houses for households in need, more than 120 km of roads have been concreted and 14 bridges have been built, to bring a safe and stable life for local residents.
Most importantly, to create the profound impacts for Corporate Social Responsibility programs, the Company must implement them in long-term and consistently. INSEE has organized numerous community initiatives that have been sustained for more than 20 years, bringing meaningful change to beneficiaries. Typically, INSEE's Enterprise-based Vocational Education program (EVE) has helped develop labor resources and provide job opportunities for more than 200 young people in Kien Luong district, where operating INSEE Hon Chong plant. In addition, the INSEE Prize competition, over a 15-year journey, has received 3,556 sustainable construction ideas, 9 projects of champion team have been realized, bringing practical benefits to more than 5,100 beneficiaries across the country.
Through the efforts of simultaneously organizing programs to improve the quality of local community life, INSEE want to build a world where life is worth living, which follows the brand philosophy "Build for Life" that the company has set out and pursued.
With commitments to supporting the growth of young talents, making contributions to the country's development, Saigon Beer-Alcohol-Beverage Corporation (SABECO) has joined Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU) in empowering hundreds of young entrepreneurs in rural areas.
AES Vietnam held its Values Day 2023 celebration on November 9, 2023, at the Mong Duong Secondary School in Cam Pha City, Quang Ninh Province. Dow Chemical Vietnam LLC (Dow Vietnam) on October 10, 2023 donated the essential medical supplies to the Emergency and Critical Care Department of Hanoi Medical University Hospital and the Emergency Department of Bach Mai Hospital. This donation project was implemented by the Project Office of the Resources Exchange International Organization (REI) in Vietnam through the connection of the People's Aid Coordinating Committee (PACCOM) with Dow Vietnam.

In the third quarter of 2023, INSEE Vietnam organized a Handover Ceremony for 5 houses in Binh An, Binh Tri, Duong Hoa, Kien Binh communes and Kien Luong town, Kien Luong district, Kien Giang province. This is the project that is kicked-off by INSEE since the beginning of 2023, which aims to provide homes for disadvantaged households and officially handed over to homeowners with the presence of local authorities and supportive partners.
