Dow Vietnam enhances healthcare quality through medical equipment donations to hospitals

On the afternoon of December 10, 2024, as part of its commitment to improving healthcare quality, Dow Chemical Vietnam LLC (Dow Vietnam), in collaboration with REI-Inc., donated essential medical equipment to the Stroke Center at Bach Mai Hospital and the Emergency & Stroke Unit at E Hospital in Hanoi. The donated items ranged from basic patient care tools, such as turning pillows and transfer slide boards, to specialized medical devices, including electric scalpels and volumetric infusion pumps. These contributions aim to enhance diagnostic, treatment, and patient care capabilities for doctors and nurses.

The sponsorship ceremony was attended by leaders from both hospitals, along with Mr. James W. Kang – Director of REI-Inc. Vietnam, and Mrs. Tran Phuong Lien – Director of REI-Inc. Representative Office in Vietnam.

Following this, on January 11, 2025, Dow Vietnam and REI-Inc. continued their charitable efforts by donating two Alpha Active 3 Pressure Redistributing Mattress Overlay Systems, valued at 70 million VND, to Dong Nai General Hospital.

The donation ceremony was attended by hospital representatives, along with Mr. Loganathan Ravisanker – President of Dow Vietnam, Mr. Nguyen Hoai Son – Vice President of Dow Vietnam, and Mrs. Tran Phuong Lien.

Representatives from the three hospitals expressed their deep gratitude, emphasizing the growing demand for modern medical facilities.

“With the increasing need for medical examination and treatment, our hospitals greatly appreciate the support from Dow Vietnam and REI-Inc. Their donations significantly contribute to enhancing healthcare quality in our communities,” shared hospital leaders.
