Vietnam, July 2025 – Herbalife Vietnam, a premier health and wellness company, continued to collaborate with Ho Chi Minh City Blood Transfusion Hematology Hospital and the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion to organize the Voluntary Blood Donation Day 2025 at Herbalife Vietnam's offices in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. This annual event reflects Herbalife’s long-standing tradition of giving back to the community and its commitment to nourishing the health and well-being of people and communities. This is the eighth year that the Voluntary Blood Donation Day has been organized by Herbalife Vietnam.
The two blood donation days received an enthusiastic response from Herbalife Vietnam's Independent Members and employees, along with their relatives and friends, resulting in a total of 286 units of blood being collected.
Mr. Vu Van Thang, General Manager for Herbalife Vietnam and Cambodia, said: "Organizing annual blood donation activities aligns with Herbalife's priorities of nurturing the health and well-being of people and communities. By donating blood, we contribute to providing humane and practical support to patients and their families throughout their treatment journey. I would like to thank all of Herbalife Vietnam’s Independent Members and employees, and their relatives and friends, for their kindness and active participation in giving their blood to save lives.".
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), blood donations are essential for various patient groups, including pregnant women with complications, children with severe anemia, accident victims, surgical patients, and cancer patients. Given the short shelf life of blood, regular donations are necessary to maintain an adequate blood supply at all times.
