Mondelez Kinh Do Named Among Vietnam’s Top 50 Outstanding Sustainable Companies

Mondelez Kinh Do Vietnam has been named among the Top 50 Outstanding Sustainable Companies in Vietnam 2025 at the Corporate Sustainability Awards (CSA 2025), organized by Nhip Cau Dau Tu Magazine. The company was honored in the Social Responsibility (S) – Pioneer in Circular Economy category, marking the second consecutive year it has received this prestigious recognition for its significant contributions to advancing circular economy practices and promoting sustainable development in Vietnam.

The CSA 2025 Awards were judged by a distinguished panel of representatives from HSBC, PwC Vietnam, Talentnet, the Institute for Circular Economy Development (Vietnam National University, HCMC), and VinaCapital, among others. The program recognizes businesses that demonstrate leadership in sustainable development, delivering impactful environmental solutions and promoting social equity.

As a member of Mondelēz International, Mondelez Kinh Do has placed sustainability at the heart of its business operations. To drive the circular economy for paper and plastic, the company has partnered with leading organizations to collect, sort, and recycle consumer packaging waste. In packaging, Mondelez Kinh Do has adopted recyclable materials, reduced plastic content, minimized ink usage, and optimized packaging design to lower environmental impact.

In sustainable sourcing, the company collaborates with Green Connect to recycle food waste into animal feed and egg production. Since 2024, this initiative has diverted hundreds of tons of food waste from landfills. Furthermore, Mondelez Kinh Do is advancing its commitment to using 100% cage-free eggs in selected product lines and building resilient, sustainable supply chains in partnership with both local and global suppliers.

To mitigate its climate footprint, the company has implemented solar energy solutions at its Hung Yen plant and continuously innovates to reduce energy consumption and emissions. It also actively supports communities through programs such as Foodbank Vietnam and by donating laptops to disadvantaged students.

Mrs. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Lien, Corporate & Government Affairs Lead at Mondelez Kinh Do Vietnam, shared: “We are honored to be recognized again among the Top 50 Corporate Sustainability Awards (CSA 2025). Over the past 10 years, we have placed sustainable development at the core of our business strategy, contributing to Vietnam’s green growth objectives while minimizing our environmental footprint. We believe adaptability, investment in circular economy models, sustainable supply chains, and human development are key drivers of long-term value for our business.”

Earlier in April 2025, Mondelez Kinh Do was also ranked among the Top 30 Outstanding Foreign-Invested Enterprises (FIEs) 2025 at the Golden Dragon Awards, held as part of the Vietnam Connect Forum.

This dual recognition underscores the company’s commitment and leadership in creating sustainable value for the food industry and communities across Vietnam.
